How We Approach a Nonprofit Event

   

In the planning stages, we like to chat with you about your organization's goals, your audience, donors, and what kind of energy you want to create. Are you going for upbeat and celebratory? Elegant and sophisticated? Something in between?

    

Whatever the vibe, we're thoughtful about what we play and how we play it. We're not trying to overshadow the cause or demand attention. We're trying to support it; to create a backdrop that brings people together and reminds them why they're there.

   

Configurations

   

Nonprofit events can range from intimate donor dinners to large-scale galas. We often perform as acoustic ensembles for smaller, more personal gatherings. We can bring a full band for bigger celebrations. We'll help you figure out what fits your space, your budget, and your vision. Flexibility & Partnership

   

Many events require flexibility. We're happy to coordinate around silent auctions, speeches, donor recognitions, or whatever else is happening. We'll adjust volume, energy, and timing as needed. We understand that the mission comes first; the music is there to support it.

Do you offer nonprofit discounts?

For organizations we've worked with long-term, yes. Discounts vary depending on your needs, and we're also flexible on configurations; there's often room for cost savings there.

Can you tailor music to our mission?

Absolutely. We genuinely believe in mission-driven work, and we approach nonprofit events differently because of that. We're happy to learn songs that matter to your organization, curate playlists that reflect your values, or talk through what the music should do for your event. It's not just about entertainment; it's about supporting what you believe in.

How do you work around speeches, auctions, etc.?

We are always sensitive to stage volume, and aren't above interrupting a song, or bringing down the intensity in the middle of a song or set. We also know that sometimes timelines change as evenings progress, and we're flexible enough to go with the flow. 

How long do your performances typically last?

We're flexible with timing and can adjust to whatever your event needs, whether that's a short set or the whole evening. We'll work closely with you to figure out what works best.
